There comes a time in our lives when we open our minds and hearts to an idea that we believe will make our lives better. Our optimism energizes us as we put our faith in the potential of a better future. This kind of focus, this hope, can strengthen us during challenging times. But what happens to us when that to which we anchored our hope doesn't fulfill our expectations? It is then that we must gather the strength of past experiences to traverse the emotional storm of disappointment.
